Kathlyn Kingdon
In 1983, Kathlyn embarked on a life long commitment with Ascended Master Djwhal Khul to partner with Him in bringing forth His next body of Wisdom Teachings. Since that moment, she has worked tirelessly toward that goal in many seminars, intensive spiritual retreats, and spiritual pilgrimages throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and India.
Trained as a concert vocalist, she has a captivating voice, which can be experienced in recordings of Master’s words. Together, they have created a collection of precious teachings that have been organized into a priceless recorded library many of which are made available on this site. Through live teleconferences, intimate personal sessions, spiritual retreats and seminars, Kathlyn literally has students all over the world.
In collaboration with Master, a monthly subscription series of lectures is provided (“Teaching-of-the-Month”), and is available either in CD or MP3 downloadable format. This series offers subscribers elucidation and guidance on vitally important topics for personal spiritual development and mastery, as well as for planetary service. Her published works with Master Djwhal Khul include Two Books, The Matter of Mind, and The Little Contemplation Book, Personal Development Courses CD Sets: Burning Karma, The Great Awakening, and Mastering the Mystery of Recession-Proofing Your Mind. and Meditation Collection CD Sets: Daily Meditations, Meditations for Awakening, Sacred Sounds,
Although her primary commitment has been to Master Djwhal Khul for nearly 30 years, when asked to provide a conduit through whom other spiritual Masters could teach, she has willingly obliged them, as well. Her body-mind space has been opened to numerous Great Ones over the years, including a three-year commitment to Vywamus, and a four-year commitment to Modron. When asked to comment on her adventures with these great teachers, Kathlyn, in her often understated way, reflected, “Well, it hasn’t been boring!”
An experienced conference presenter, she has designed programs for corporate and educational clients to assist with organizational change and employee empowerment. She has offered workshops on group process, grief work, optimal human functioning, and the sacred feminine, and has lectured on the use of music and the voice to enhance personal functioning at all levels. She has recorded and published instructional CDs used by Dynamic Listening Systems of Denver, Colorado, and their providers. Additionally, she served as editor for the psychological publication, The Journal of Giftedness and Gifted Education, published by the Gifted Development Center, Denver, Colorado.
She was the keynote speaker at an International Conference in Glastonbury, England in 1997, lecturing both on Dion Fortune, renowned British Cabbalist, and the feminine force in traditional Hopi Kachinas. She was keynote presenter at the International Summit of World Healers in Monterey, California in 1998, and was featured at the International Conflict Resolution Conference, in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1999, where she introduced the Enneagram as a tool for conflict resolution. Between 1988 and 1999, she led spiritual pilgrimages and presented to women’s groups in the field of Women’s Spirituality in Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland, France and India. Perhaps her most significant contributions, however, lie in the meditation retreats and seminars she has led in some 15 of the United States as well as abroad.
As writer, Kathlyn has authored numerous articles in various fields, ranging from Christian education and the problems of legalism in religion (1970’s); to reviews of complicated law cases, nutrition, and paper consumption (1980’s); to the effects of quantum physics on the field of psychotherapy, the place of the sacred feminine in psychotherapy and personal development, and the feminine life cycle as a spiritual path (1990’s). Her collection of poems, Poems to Ponder upon the Path, was published in 1987. Journey into Softness – A Reflective Experience Designed to Help Loosen Hard Edges, a yearlong personal journaling experience, was published in 1997. She also wrote the film script for A Spiritual Pilgrimage to France, 1996.
Kathlyn’s career path is broad and varied. The fact that she holds compelling interest in nearly all facets of life is demonstrated in her work in the world. She was the first woman to graduate from the University of Colorado, earning a Master’s degree in choral conducting. She then taught school in Colorado at both high school and middle school levels. Her primary area of focus was music at both levels. She also taught science and drama. In 1982, she was featured as the only woman conductor participating in the Denver Symphony Orchestra’s 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Becoming fascinated with graphic arts, she left teaching and during the next six years, set up a graphic arts center, including a commercial camera shop, a printing supply outlet, and a printing and binding company. From graphic arts, she moved into law firm administration in one of the largest 17th Street law firms in Denver, where she directly managed 25 people, providing all the in-house services to support 112 attorneys.
Having taxed her left-brain significantly in the legal world, Kathlyn returned to school, taking immersion courses and advanced training by leaders in the field of transpersonal psychology, specializing in optimal human functioning. She is certified in neo-Reichian work and became a board certified clinical hypnotherapist. Additionally, she achieved national certification as an Enneagram instructor and meditation teacher.
During this time, she also traveled coast to coast serving the spiritual plane as a voice channel. In 1992, she co-founded a tour company that led spiritual pilgrimages, allowing participants to experience high energy places and sacred sites around the world.
